Suffolk Minerals and Waste - Local Plan


  • Submission Draft Suffolk Minerals & Waste Local Plan Consultation 
    As the
    third stage of the preparation of the Suffolk Minerals & Waste Local Plan, Suffolk County Council is inviting comments upon the Submission Draft Plan (the “Plan”) and the supporting evidence base documents.

    The consultation is hosted on the Suffolk County Council website and can be viewed by following the link provided below.   
    Alternatively, hard copies of the Plan and the SA may be provided upon request.
    The documents can also be viewed at the main Suffolk County Council offices at Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich, IP1 2BX;


    The consultation begins at 5pm on the 11 June 2018.  Please complete and submit the online survey, or email, or write to Suffolk County Council at the email or postal address provided.  In all cases the correspondence must be received by 5pm on the 23 July 2018, or the views expressed will not be able to be taken into account.

    There will be several public engagement events across the county, where members of the public can learn more about the preferred sites and speak to members of the Minerals and Waste Team.
